Food Pantry at NSCC

Serving Our Community With Compassion and Care

“For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat.” – Matthew 25:35

Our Story

The NSCC Food Pantry began in January 2000, with a mission to feed families and individuals in need. Over the past 25 years, our ministry has grown thanks to the support of church members and families, as well as ongoing contributions from our community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed their time, resources, and care to make this ministry possible. Your support has allowed us to feed countless neighbors and demonstrate love in practical ways.

About Us

The pantry provides essential grocery items to families and individuals in need. We strive to create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

We are committed to:

  • Providing nutritious food and necessities

  • Supporting individuals and families with dignity and care

  • Engaging the community through service and fellowship

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of our pantry. We welcome all ages to serve:

  • Ages 10 and up: Can volunteer with an adult

  • Ages 13 and up: Can volunteer independently

Tasks include sorting and organizing donations, packing food bags, assisting with distribution, and welcoming guests.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Latoye Pezzullo at pantry@nscc.live or call 516-922-7322. We are always looking for helping hands!

Donations & Support

The NSCC Food Pantry relies on the generosity of the community. We gratefully accept:

  • Non-perishable food items

  • Personal care items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)

  • Household essentials (toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc.)

  • Grocery store gift cards

Your contributions help ensure that families in our community have access to food and necessities. We are grateful for the ongoing support of church members, families, and the community over the past 25 years.
