When your kids come to church

  • A safe place

North Shore wants you to have peace of mind when you bring your kids in the door. We have a check-in system that ensures your kids are safely settled in our nursery, toddlers room, or—during the sermon—in our children’s worship gathering (K-5th grade).

  • Children's sermon ("the box")

Right before the sermon, we call our children forward. One child brings a box and the pastor must preach a brief sermon for the children based on whatever they bring. The pastor doesn’t know the contents ahead of time, so it’s a fun little surprise that helps our kids understand the way the entire created world points to God Himself.

  • Children's worship

Children’s worship is a time when our children can be shaped for hearing a sermon in an age-appropriate way. In addition to songs there is a strong gospel lesson that our children can apply and bring home with them.
